Mark Kerckhoff |
Mark Kerckhoff paints nature and creates beauty. His art, highly regarded in southern California for nearly thirty years, is at once inspired and inspirational. The time he spends out doors is transferred from his eye, to his heart, to hand, to brush, to canvas; then conveyed to the eye of the beholder… and to their heart. Incredibly, through the use of color, light, composition, and depth, Mark’s paintings carry the viewer to the time and place of the piece, or even to a different time and place that only the viewer can know. Like the scenes depicted, Mark’s paintings are fresh and new at each encounter; the kind of art you can live with and relate with every day, definitely not static, very much alive. Mark is represented by the Casa de Paz, Tree of life gallery in San Juan Capistrano, CA and Daryl Millard Gallery in Solana Beach, CA. |

Camille Przewodek |
Camille Przewodek’s creativity is centered around her excitement over light - “Light as it falls on the landscape at specific times of day and under specific conditions." She received her BFA from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco as well as studying color with impressionist master, Henry Hensche. “My use of color is inspired by color relationships perceived under many varied light schemes. Light itself becomes the subject matter and carries the painting.” She is a signature member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters and the Oil Painters of America, and an artist member of the California Art Club. |

Rob Robinson |
Rob’s inspiration to paint is rooted in his desire to create something of value while finding a little peace in the hustle-bustle of every day life. Says Robinson, “With all that’s going on in the world today, which for the most part we have little say, the act of painting is a chance for me to create something of beauty and resolve life as I would like to see it, if only for a moment, in the world of a two dimensional canvas.” He is a member of the Santa Barbara Art Association, California Art Club and SCAPE (Southern California Painters for the Environment). |

Wendy Schwartz |
Wendy Schwartz's paintings are in private and corporate collections nationally as well as Europe and Canada. In the San Francisco Bay Area, paintings may be seen at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists Gallery. I am drawn to a spare but emotionally powerful landscape-- long fields, shadows, tidelands, the edge of a town, its back alleys, the remote shed or cottage, barn or grain elevator or mill, a not-quite empty room, or abandoned places that suggest a past story. In these landscapes and interiors, I try to use light and detail in ways that will strengthen the painting, but also keep the scene true. The depiction of a place has to feel authentic to me, as if it could exist, which may not mean the same thing as “realistic”. |

Since, he has developed a strong following of admirers, both nationally and internationally. Frank travels widely throughout North America painting scenes from the desert southwest to the beautiful high country vistas of the Canadian Rockies and is highly revered for his ability to capture the atmosphere, which is a hallmark in his work. “Painting on location enriches my life... and the paintings do not exist as mere pictures, but as a journal through which I can express all my senses”. Arturo Tello |
California landscape painter Arturo Tello was born on December 5, 1954 in Tulancingo Hidalgo, a town near Mexico City. He began his formal training as a figure painter, but his innate feeling for the land drew him inexorably toward depicting the shifting light and natural forms of his adopted country's coastline and bluffs. His strong belief in the importance of preserving open spaces led him to help to form the Oak Group. Affiliated around the venerable Ray Strong, this group of landscape painting friends, which includes his wife Karen Gruszka, works to celebrate and preserve the natural environment through their paintings. A founding member of the Oak Group, he is represented by the Easton Gallery in Montecito and John Pence Gallery in San Francisco, CA. |
