The Madison Artists Guild presents their 5th annual Plein Air Paint Out in beautiful Madison, Georgia-May 4th & 5th.  This 2 day paint out happens during the Spring Tour of Homes with a reception and silent auction of the paintings on Saturday, May 5th.  Entry fees are $20 for MAG members and $30 for non-members.  Madison is a beautiful ante bellum town located in the heart of picturesque rural Morgan County, in northwest Georgia. Art in the Open 2012 is Ireland’s 5th annual plein air painting festival and  Europe’s largest. This is an open (unjuried) event with participants from many countries. Learning, sharing and dedicated painting takes place in an atmosphere of fun, camaraderie and Irish ‘craic’.
Workshops and demonstrations, barbecues, music and more. A major exhibition of plein air painting (on Monday 6th August) with cash awards totalling €4000.
