Gil Dellinger has participated in over 300 group and one person exhibitions. He is a retired Professor of Art at the University of the Pacific. He has inspired many young artists through his talent for teaching and his own artwork, having won the Distinguished Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence and Professional Contribution in 1990. Painting from life, his work captures majestic landscapes, peaceful pastoral scenes, the drama of the Pacific Ocean, florals, and any scene that catches his eye. His masterful technique is extraordinary. Dellinger feels the chalk is an extension of his heart, and captures his feelings like no other medium. Gil is Signature member of the Pastel Society of America, The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, and the California Art Club. He is represented by Fraser Fox Fine Arts, Charleston South Carolina, Zschoche Fine Art, Newport Beach California, Knowlton Gallery, Lodi California, Harbinger Gallery, Arnold California, Waterhouse Gallery, Santa Barbara California.

Michael’s commitment to plein-air painting began when he met Ray Strong in 1970, and virtually all of his work is generated out-of-doors. He has painted extensively in the high deserts of the Great Basin, the wild coast of California, his home grounds of western Santa Barbara County, and the west coast of Ireland. He is a life-long surfer and a founding member of the OAK GROUP, an association of environmentally active landscape painters in Santa Barbara.  He is represented by Palm Loft Gallery in Carpinteria, CA and the Great Basin Gallery & Frame in Carson City, Nevada.
